Titles, notes, location, and AI analysis results live on our servers so insights and chat can work. When you analyze, decrypted audio is sent securely for processing and temporary audio files are discarded afterward.

- Is my data encrypted?
- Voice recordings and photos are encrypted on your device before upload. Lila does not hold the key required to decrypt stored media. Titles, notes, location tags, and AI analysis results (transcripts, summaries, themes, emotions, and searchable embeddings) are stored on our servers so insights and memory chat can work. When you run analysis, decrypted audio is sent securely to Lila and our AI provider, then temporary audio files are discarded.
